Can I use the same account as a startup and as an investor?

Yes. You can switch your roles between being a PreInvestor, Startup, or Event Host all under one account.

This seamless transition means that you do not need to create different accounts for different roles.

Can I create more than one account on Pre?

Our guidelines strongly advise against the creation of multiple accounts to maintain the integrity and fairness of our platform. Should we detect multiple accounts linked to one individual, we might have to take action by disabling some or all of them.

I haven't received confirmation email for my account registration.

After tapping the Register button at the bottom of the account setup page, you will be automatically sent a confirmation email.

If you do not receive a confirmation email, first check your spam folder. If you are still unable to locate it, resubmit your information on the registration form to ensure your email is typed correctly. Mistyping your email address is a common hiccup, so double-checking its accuracy can solve many issues.

How do I invest in startups at a event?

To invest in startups during an event, you’ll need the specific event code from the organizers. Enter this 4-digit code within your PreInvestor role to access the investment screen and dive into the exciting world of startup investment.

When and how do I receive event code?

Event organizers will announce the code at the event’s commencement. They may also make it available on the event’s app page or other digital platforms.

Setting up an Event on Pre

How do I set up an event on Pre?

Switching to a Host role allows you to set up your event. Once you have the basic information in place, you can then further customize the event to your liking.


How do I sign up to pitch at an event that is using Pre?

To apply for pitching at an event, switch to your startup role and select your startup. Next, look for the event under “Discover Events,” tap it, and hit “Apply to Pitch.” If the event isn’t listed or lacks an application button, use the 6-digit code from the organizer, and enter it in the field at the top of your startup page to apply.

How do I access my messages?

Your messages from event participants are accessible via the Messages icon on the bottom bar, ensuring you stay connected and responsive to your audience and potential investors.

What should I include in my profile?

Your profile is your digital handshake. Including a succinct description of your product or venture, and a recognizable logo ensures you leave a lasting impression on the audience. Add links to your social media pages so the audience can easily follow you after the event has ended.
